Hello from Vernalville!

Hello from Vernalville! We are all doing really well out here. Luke had his #2 Birthday on May 18th. We had cake and ice cream with Russell's family on the actual day, complete with dalmatian candles he couldn't get enough of. He got a swingset and several new trucks for presents. Then the next weekend (memorial weekend) my parents, Marisa, Jane and Lindsey, and Molly and Paxton and the kids all came out for the weekend. We had a birthday party for Luke on Saturday, and then for Jake on Sunday. Luke got a pool, swim trunks, and a slip and slide; so that made for a lot of outside fun. We also saw Jacqueline and Dylan (michael's kids) a lot and went bowling with them.

Russell was on vacation for the week, because he has 2 weeks a year that he has to take and this was the week that he got assigned. He played golf just about everyday, and he is a new convert to Rockband, so there was quite a lot of noise. He and my dad hung out quite a bit, doing the things that guys do (fixing trucks, golfing, telling lies.)

Then last weekend, we went out to salt lake and Luke got to play with Gavin and Savannah while Russell and I went to Lagoon. It was pretty fun, but I lost my phone on Wicked (about 3:30) and had to wait until they could look for it next, at 8:00. They found it, minus the battery, but the screen ended up being cracked and so I had to get a new phone anyway. Lame.

Luke is getting so big and cute. He talks quite a bit now, and several times through the day asks where everyone-that isn't with him-is ("Where dad? At work. Where pop? At work. But he asks for Ceese (Marisa) and Gavi the most and sometimes cries when I say they had to go home. And he is in the stage where he wants to know what everything is, and he repeats the last word or two of everything you say to him. We are really having a fun time playing outside, and he really likes going golfing with his dad. We got his 2 year old pictures taken last week, by the same lady that did our family pictures last fall. So I'll include a few of them so you can all see how gorgeous he really is!
Love all of you and we'll see everyone at the reunion!
